Responding to feed back, I included a variation of images for the contents page. This makes the page seem more interesting and by grey scaling the images, it does not distract the focus of the magazine.

Photo's for contents page
These are other photo's that I plan to include in my work. These will reflect on other artists that'll be a part of the magazine.
A young two shot with no direct address. The attitude within the faces of the girl and boy shows elements of serious absence, like deep thought. Their clothing provides a casual and tough appearance.
The direct address used with these images with the use of a hood gives a mysterious bond between the audience and the girl.
Original images of a concert which works well with the themes of the magazine.
Article concluding paragraph
"This tale ends with Lauren returning to her abode of wrecking bliss, her bedroom. Again LD must stand out from this cloud of stars so the music must be bright, visually, it must be exhausting. Love and Death is a new experience of Rock that pulls the heart towards personal moments or admiring others. If you want to have a soppy cry or a story to hear, you're looking for Love and Death."
G321 Magazine draft feed back
The types of feed back I've been given includes the strengths and weaknesses of my draft cover, contents and double page.
The strengths:
The development:
The strengths:
- Appearence is contingent use of colours, looks realistic and target market is clear to make out.
- House colours are used through out the work, variety of photography used (facial expressions and positions), shows personality.
- This idea of the 'Loath' is good.
- The colours are not over powering.
- The layout of the article is good.
- The front cover has alot of detail without being to heavy.
- Double page links to the genre (rock/pop)
- The website being layed out across the masthead is effective.
- Genre is displayed through the flowers and the writing.
The development:
- Make the masthead stand out a bit more, cover maybe a bit full.
- Use 4 images, not just 3, first glimps does not express music.
- Display double page on 2 pages.
- Edit images to make them of a better quality.

Magazine cover and double page version 2
After following feed back, I improved the cover and double page by adding quotes from the article.
This provides a feel that the cover star is communicating to the audience in some way as well as a curious and persuasive sense into what the article entails.

Refering back to elements with the magazines I produced in the past, from my 'VIBES' magazine cover, which helped me to understand house colour and matching fonts, this influence me when I made my first proof including the colour scheme and layout.
http://charlottermpalmer.blogspot.co.uk/2012/09/vibes-front-cover.html

Also, the colour scheme is simular to the way I used colour in my 'PITCH' magazine cover. The colours blue, red, white and black is too used in my front cover.

Refering back to the use of language in my magazine, I looked back at my research which influenced how my magazine will respond to my target audience.

Article Draft
This is my first draft of the article for my double page spread. This maybe used with my final work but this provides an idea the articles content.
Q. The title of the album is 'Loath' why choose this name?
Q. The way it seems, your music sounds personal. Why base your music on drama's in your life?
A. Don't most writers do that? But, what I do that other writers don't is experience at the end of the drama. I don't just write the event but the after math too, it's like the listener has just felt an intense episode. So most of the songs end with something to think about which is how I get into people's heads.
" The bouquet blooms to a brand new brand of Rock, this is what Love and Death (Lauren Dale) aims for with her new album 'Loath'. In front of us sits a tiny girl amongst the cloud of stars with a lot of ambition who expects her music to stand out, first impressions, no way. Head to toe she dresses like a typical teen, recently raised from her intensely inspiring rest whilst holding a comforting hot drink to still her nerves. Once settled, Dale repeated how nervous and tired she is until the first sip of tea began her first response, "Now don't get the idea that my music is typical, my identity is totally unique and at the same time, I think it'll start a new vision of rock music" ending with an excited smile. No this was not an answer, she chose to begin the interview this way, this is the start to the interview:
A. Actually, I don't know. The word came from the first 'L-o' and the last 'a-t-h' from my name 'Love and Death'. I know loath isn't a winning album name but it fits in a strange way with what my music is about. From this album comes a lot of personal experience, and the key to escape it; to escape reality and reality is what some of us loath.
Q. So how does your music make you different from other incredible stars in the Rock world? After all you say that your music is 'a new vision'.
A. Yes and I stick to that motto because my aim is to appeal to experienced Rock listeners and new listeners, especially people who hate Rock. My music creates a sanctuary, well, a load one, it's not for the weak that's for certain. But not all of it is extreme to the ears, some of the music might help people through hard times, it helped me definitely.
Q. You call yourself 'Love and Death', why is this?
A. The idea came to me, weirdly, through an art exhibition. I think the name suits me well and it fits with my initials 'L-D', I'd say it's destined.
Q. In that case, do you like an 'R and J' scenario?
A. I don't want my music to be romantic, it's life. Love is an individual thing and I guess it kind of links to the album Loath, that we have our likes and dislikes.
Q. Surely you have your favourites, who shaped you to become who you are today?
A. I love TBS (The burning serpent) and, well, I also enjoyed Living Harvest- which gave me the idea of taking my listeners on an experience. But most of the influence came about through my parents; they're writers. Stories I always enjoyed since I was little so I guess I'm making my own with my music. "
